Sunday 10/18 - Basketball Pickup (All Levels) - Xavier High School 1:00pm

Welcome to Volo pickup basketball at Xavier High School. Our pickups are open to all genders and skill levels. 

Pickup highlights: 

• All equipment is provided by Volo!

• 5v5 

  • Format may be adjusted if we do not have enough players for 5v5

  • Players will shoot free throws for teams - every other player who makes it will go on opposite teams.

  • The players that don’t get in the first game will play the next game. If they need additional players the team coming off can shoot to fill the spots.

  • Teams will play two consecutive games (win or lose). The only exception is the loser of the first game will rotate off.

• 12 player capacity

  • Only registered players can play

• Games are played to 11 or 10 mins whichever comes first

  • 1’s and 2’s

  • Players call their own foul

  • If you call an “and 1” on a shot and it goes in the basket counts. The defending team (team that committed the foul) then becomes the offense. If the shot is missed the ball is checked up top. 

• Substitutions

  • Players sitting out will rotate in to serve

• Arrive early to check-in with your host. We want to start on time to give you as much playing time as possible!

  • QR Code Scan: Players are required to download the Volo App and present the QR code associated with their league to the host on site. Already have the Volo App? Make sure you have updated to the latest version. Download now for iOS or Android.

Pickups, clinics, tournaments and events are free or discounted for Volo Pass members. Cancelations/Refunds

Refunds are not available for pickups. If games are canceled due to low numbers players will be offered a full site credit. Volo Pass members will not receive a credit for free pickups. 

If players want to cancel their spot they must do so through the app at least six hours before the pickup starts. If players fail to cancel six or more hours ahead of the start of pickup they will get their fee back in the form of a site credit. If players cancel less than six hours before the start they will lose their pickup fee.
