What’s a drop-in?

Drop-ins play on a league team for a single game. All the fun, no season-long commitment.

Playing time: Plan on about half the game, though it can vary.
Bring a friend: Want to play together? Find a team with more than one spot open.
Know the level: Only drop-in if you're comfortable with the league's competition level.

Looking for some friendly competition this summer? Look no further than 6v6 Coed Soccer on a turf field at Grant Elementary, whether you are new to soccer or looking to sharper up your skills, this super social league is just for you! 


Soccer Coed (6v6)

  • The minimum for a full team is 9*
  • 6 players max on the field (5 men max for coed leagues only)
    • Please note that during games, if a team does not have at least one non-male players on the field, they will be required to play down by one player.
  • Minimum is start an official game is 3 (including 1 woman for coed leagues only)
  • For 45 min games, we will have two 20-minute running halves with 2 minute half time
  • 5 regular season games
  • Shin guards are optional
  • FIFA rules unless otherwise specified


*Registered Groups who are not pre-paid teams and do not meet the minimum roster requirement by the registration deadline may be merged with other small groups, or have free agents added to their roster to meet the roster requirement.


Playoffs: We will accommodate as many teams as possible in the playoffs, but only the TOP 4 teams are guaranteed advancement.


Weather Policy: Guaranteed 2 makeup games if games have to be postponed due to weather, facility issues, or any other reason. We will do our best to make the games up at the end of the season at the same location, date, and time but in some cases these may change in order to make the games up.


Schedule: Depending on the number of teams it’s possible for teams to have byes or doubleheaders. It’s also possible that the league is shortened or extended by a week. All teams are guaranteed 6 regular season games.


Alcohol Policy: Players are prohibited from bringing any outside alcohol to any sponsor bars/ location


Shirts: 

Volo SJ is piloting a new shirt distribution process for our leagues to make Week 1 smoother. Prepaid teams must have all players registered and added to their roster by September 3rd. This ensures required waivers are completed and helps us prepare the most accurate shirt count and size mix for each team. Players added after the deadline will still receive a shirt, but available sizes, styles, and colors may vary.
