What’s a drop-in?

Drop-ins play on a league team for a single game. All the fun, no season-long commitment.

Playing time: Plan on about half the game, though it can vary.
Bring a friend: Want to play together? Find a team with more than one spot open.
Know the level: Only drop-in if you're comfortable with the league's competition level.
Pro tips: Arrive early and download the Volo mobile app to chat with your team.

Volo offers a unique social experience for all participants and this league includes a fun indoor setting to play pickleball at a collegiate venue, a dedicated & knowledgeable host, and T-Shirts for all team members.


All skill levels are welcome! Based on league size and demand, we may create divisions in the league based on self-rated skill levels defined here: https://usapickleball.org/tournaments/tournament-player-ratings/player-skill-rating-definitions/


League Schedule 📅

  • 6 Games + Playoffs (Min Top Half Teams)
  • Teams subject to games in all time slots
  • League may have BYE weeks


  • Traditional Pickleball Gameplay & Rosters 👭👬

    • 2v2 Open (no gender requirements)

    • Standard Scoring - points can only be scored by the serving team

    • 1 Match per night (60 minutes of gameplay) - Matches are best 5 (no win by 2) 

    • Games are played to 11.

    • Games are self-refereed

    • A full team consists of 4+ players. No Players will be added to teams with 4+ players signed up with all roster requirements met.

    • Teams will need a minimum of 2 players to start!

    • Sold-out leagues are subject to an adjusted roster fill-in deadline and/or registration close date


  • Weather Cancellations & Postponements ⛈

    • All leagues, days, times, and locations are subject to change at any point in the season.

    • In the event of unforeseen conflicts with the venue or inclement weather, games may be rescheduled to an alternate day or location.

If low registration leagues maybe combined with Traditional or Party Pickleball to run.
