🏆 WHAT YOU GET
Looking to meet new friends, new teammates, and maybe even your soulmate? Join our Singles Pickleball League tailored towards a hetero matchmaking format! The season kicks off with you being paired up with a ‘wing-person’ – your built-in teammate and hype partner for the league. Together, you’ll split and rotate to play two games with different partners, giving you two chances every week to meet someone new on the court. For this league, all game play matchups will be heterosexual and your initial teammate will be your same gender. Your "opponents" will be of the opposite gender. For each matchup you'll "split" partners and match up with someone from the other team for each of the games. Whether you’re here to find your pickleball partner for life or just expand your social circle, this league is the perfect way to serve up connection and fun.
🏓 Saturday Volo Solo 2v2 Pickleball at North Park Rec Center in San Diego League Details:
Time Frame: 10:00am - 1:00pm
Full Team Roster Minimum: 3 players
Minimum 2 players to start a game
Two 30-minute Games Per Day
Report scores to your host
Regular Season: 16 guaranteed games
Bye Weeks / Doubleheaders: May occur depending on registration
Make-up Games: Guaranteed 1 makeup game due to weather or venue changes
BLACKOUT DATE: 11/28
Playoffs: All players are invited to playoff day which will be an open play format with a social mixed element as well
Games will be self-refereed

**Registered Groups who are not pre-paid teams and do not meet the minimum roster requirement by the registration deadline may be merged with other small groups, or have free agents added to their roster to meet the minimum roster requirement.
🌦 WEATHER & MAKEUP POLICY
If San Diego Pickleball games are postponed due to weather, facility closures, or other unforeseen circumstances, Volo Sports guarantees 1 makeup game. Priority will be to make up games at the end of the season or as double headers, however, makeups may not occur at the same location, day of the week, or time.
📋SAN DIEGO PICKLEBALL GENERAL POLICIES
#1 Rule: BE KIND
Scheduling: Please note that if we do not reach at least 4 teams for each division (competitive, intermediate, or beginner/social) the league will be merged and all skill levels will compete against one another.
Playoffs: All teams qualify for playoffs. Teams with more than 2 forfeits will not be eligible for the playoffs.
Forfeits: Teams must provide notice of forfeits 24 hours prior to scheduled game times. If your team forfeits two or more times during the regular season, you will be eliminated from the playoffs
T-Shirts: All players will receive a t-shirt on week one. If there are any missing shirts for your team, please report them to your Host on week two and we will do our best to deliver them to your league on week three. Missing shirts requested after week two must be picked up from our office.
Alcohol: Per San Diego County laws, alcohol is prohibited at this venue. Please enjoy food and drinks at your league sponsor bar after your game.
