Drop-ins play on a league team for a single game. All the fun, no season-long commitment.
- Playing time: Plan on about half the game, though it can vary.

Join us for Baltimore Coed Softball at Ortman Field in Canton, a perfect mix of competitive play, great energy, and that classic Patterson Park summer vibe on Thursday nights. This league sells out fast every season, so rally your squad and lock in your spot before it’s gone.
Sport Overview
10v10 Coed Softball
- #1 Rule: Be kind
- Roster minimum: 15 players
- 10 players on the field (7 men max. on the field)
- 1 player from the team roster must play catcher no matter how many people are on the field
- Minimum to start a game: 6 (5 men max. on the field)
- If only 1 woman is present, an out is recorded every time the 2nd woman should rotate in to bat
- Games are 60 minutes or 7 innings
- Bats provided at ALL locations
- Bats must be ASA, USA or NSA certified (wood bats included)
- Gloves ARE NOT PROVIDED
- Players are not allowed to wear metal spikes
Policies/Disclaimers
*Depending on the number of teams it's possible for teams to have byes or doubleheaders. It's also possible that the league is shortened or extended by a week. All teams are guaranteed 6 regular season games.
Playoffs: Top 50% of teams will make playoffs (Additional teams may be added to playoffs if schedules/venue space allow)
Weather Policy: Guaranteed 2 makeup games at the same location but not guaranteed to be played on the same day of the week.
Volo Ejection Policy: Players who are ejected from a game are required to leave the venue immediately upon being instructed by officials or league staff (hosts) after providing their name, email, and phone number. Failure to comply may result in additional disciplinary action.
All ejected players will be contacted by league administration following the incident to review the events and discuss next steps.
An ejection carries a minimum one-game suspension, effective for the player's next scheduled league game.
Please note: Ejections and resulting suspensions are not subject to appeal. All decisions made by league officials regarding disciplinary matters are final.
