What’s a drop-in?

Drop-ins play on a league team for a single game. All the fun, no season-long commitment.

Playing time: Plan on about half the game, though it can vary.
Bring a friend: Want to play together? Find a team with more than one spot open.
Know the level: Only drop-in if you're comfortable with the league's competition level.
Pro tips: Arrive early and download the Volo mobile app to chat with your team.

Come party with us at New Design High School this Fall! 


Volo offers a unique social experience for all participants and this league includes a fun indoor setting to play pickleball at a collegiate venue, a dedicated & knowledgeable host, and T-Shirts for all team members.


All skill levels are welcome! Based on league size and demand, we may create divisions in the league based on self-rated skill levels defined here: https://usapickleball.org/tournaments/tournament-player-ratings/player-skill-rating-definitions/


League Schedule 📅

  • 6 Games + Playoffs (Min Top Half Teams)

  • Teams subject to games in all time slots

  • League may have BYE weeks

  • Two or more forfeits a season teams lose eligibility for playoffs

  • Will have games on Rosh Hashanah


Party Pickleball Gameplay & Rosters 👭👬

  • 2v2 Open (no gender requirements)

  • Rally scoring - points are scored every serve.

  • 1 Match per night (60 minutes of gameplay) - Matches are best 4 out of 7 games. 

  • Games 1 through 4 are played to 15 points. Games 5-7 are played to 11.

  • Rotational Serving - Rotational Serving means that one player on the team will serve 5 consecutive points, regardless of which team wins the point. After 5 serves, the opposing team will serve 5 points in the same style.

  • Games are self-refereed

  • A full team consists of 5+ players - No Players will be added to teams with 5+ players signed up with all roster requirements met.

  • Teams will need a minimum of 2 players to start!

  • Sold-out leagues are subject to an adjusted roster fill-in deadline and/or registration close date


Weather Cancellations & Postponements ⛈

  • All leagues, days, times, and locations are subject to change at any point in the season.

  • In the event of unforeseen conflicts with the venue or inclement weather, games may be rescheduled to an alternate day or location.

  • If low registration leagues maybe combined with Traditional or Party Pickleball to run.
