🥒WEDNESDAY REC/INT PICKLEBALL at VOLO SPORTS ARENA LEAGUE DETAILS

*Games played on NEW vinyl flooring

- Skill level: Rec - 1.0-2.5, Int - 2.5-3.25 (See more about Skill levels in the rules section or at Volosports.com/Denver/Pickleball)

- Team Roster Minimum: 3 players (No Gender Requirements)*

- 1 Match Per Night

- Standard Scoring: Points can only be scored by the serving team (no win by 2)

- Matches are best of 5 games or 60 minutes, whichever comes first (11-11-11-11-7)

- Self-Refereed

- All equipment is provided, players may use their own paddle

- League will be split between players that choose [Rec. vs Int.] only if the amount of teams in each division exceeds 5 teams. The league will remain combined if this minimum for each division is not reached.

- Regular Season: 5 games guaranteed

    * Bye Weeks / Doubleheaders: May occur depending on registration

    * Make-up Games: Guaranteed 2 games due to weather or venue changes

    * Playoffs: Top 4 teams guaranteed to qualify (additional teams will be added if space permits). Playoffs will take place over 1 OR 2 weeks depending on number of teams and venue availability. No substitutes/drop-ins are permitted during playoffs.

    * Games will be self-refereed

**Registered Groups who are not pre-paid teams and do not meet the minimum roster requirement by the registration deadline may be merged with other small groups, or have free agents added to their roster to meet the minimum roster requirement.

🌦WEATHER & MAKEUP POLICY

If Denver Pickleball games are postponed due to weather, facility closures, or other unforeseen circumstances, Volo Sports guarantees 2 makeup games. Priority will be to make up games at the end of the season or as double headers, however, makeups may not occur at the same location, day of the week, or time.

📋DENVER PICKLEBALL GENERAL POLICIES

- #1 Rule: BE KIND

- Scheduling: Teams may have double-headers or bye weeks depending on number of teams or  cancellations due to weather or venue limitations. If you have specific schedule requests, these must be made prior to the registration deadline by emailing [email protected] or included in your registration notes. Schedule accommodations are not guaranteed. 

- Forfeits: Denver teams that forfeit 2 or more times throughout the season may not be eligible for playoffs. If your team has low RSVPs, please have your captain open Drop-In  Spots (all player substitutes MUST be registered as drop-ins) OR email [email protected] letting us know you are forfeiting at least 3 hours prior to game time. If a team forfeits 3 or more times during the regular season, they may be removed from the schedule without a credit or a refund.

- T-Shirts: If you registered before the deadline, you will receive your shirt Week One of the league. Please make sure your profile reflects the correct shirt size.  If you do not receive a shirt week one, please fill out the missing t-shirt link that will be sent out in the Welcome Email.

- Alcohol: Outside alcohol is NOT permitted at any sponsor bar, turf field, or venue on School or Church property. Glass containers are NOT permitted at ANY Volo League Location. Violators may be permanently banned from the Sponsor Bars or Volo leagues. Any player who is expelled from a league is not eligible for a refund or Volo credit.
