What’s a drop-in?
Drop-ins play on a league team for a single game. All the fun, no season-long commitment.
- Playing time: Plan on about half the game, though it can vary.
- Bring a friend: Want to play together? Find a team with more than one spot open.
- Know the level: Only drop-in if you're comfortable with the league's competition level.
- Pro tips: Arrive early and download the Volo mobile app to chat with your team.

Rules Overview 📋
Each half begins with a draw. After goals, the defensive team clears the ball.
Restraining line is at midfield.
3-Pass Rule: Three passes must be attempted in the offensive zone before a goal can be scored.
No excessive contact - no slashing, cross checks, body checks, dangerous follow-throughs, etc.
Checks must be made to the stick head only and from behind.
3-Second Rule: Defenders may not guard within 8 meters of the goal unless within stick’s length and actively marking an attacker.
Goals will use shooting targets in place of goalkeepers.
Defenders may enter the crease to retrieve a dead ball or start a clear. No blocking shots or acting as a goalie in the crease is allowed.
