Cornhole at Club Volo Brewers Hill in Baltimore LEAGUE DETAILS
- Full Team Roster Minimum: 5 players
- Minimum to play: 2 players to start a game
- 2 Games Per Night
- Scoring Format: The approved method of scoring for Traditional cornhole is “cancellation” scoring. In cancellation scoring, the points of one player cancel out the points of their opponent. Using this method, only one player/team can score in each frame. Ex Team 1 gets one bag in the whole and one bag on the board = 4 points. Team 2 gets one bag in the hole = 3 points. The final score from the throw is Team 1 with 1 point (4-3=1).
If tied, the game ends in a tie | PLAYOFFS ONLY - play another frame
- Regular Season: 10 games guaranteed
* Bye Weeks / Doubleheaders: May occur depending on registration
* Make-up Games: Guaranteed 2 make-up games due to weather or venue change
- Playoffs: Top 4 teams guaranteed to qualify (additional teams will be added if space permits)
- Games will be self-refereed
**Registered Groups who are not pre-paid teams and do not meet the minimum roster requirement by the registration deadline may be merged with other small groups, or have free agents added to their roster to meet the minimum roster requirement.
🌦WEATHER & MAKEUP POLICY
If Baltimore Cornhole games are postponed due to weather, facility closures, or other unforeseen circumstances, Volo Sports guarantees 2 makeup games. Priority will be to make up games at the end of the season or as double headers, however, makeups may not occur at the same location, day of the week, or time.
📋Baltimore Cornhole GENERAL POLICIES
- #1 Rule: BE KIND
- Scheduling: Each team is guaranteed to play 2 cornhole games per night. Teams may have doubleheaders if there is an odd number of teams in the league
- Playoffs: Top 8 teams guaranteed to qualify (additional teams will be added if space permits)
- Forfeits: Teams that forfeit more than 2 games during the regular season may be ineligible for playoffs.
- T-Shirts: Everyone gets a shirt! We’ll aim to provide the requested colors and sizes requested, but options are subject to availability.
- Alcohol: Outside alcohol is not permitted
