Who needs a player

What’s a drop-in?

Drop-ins play on a league team for a single game. All the fun, no season-long commitment.

Playing time: Plan on about half the game, though it can vary.
Bring a friend: Want to play together? Find a team with more than one spot open.
Know the level: Only drop-in if you're comfortable with the league's competition level.

Gameplay & Rosters 👫🏐

Volleyball (6v6 Coed) 

  •  Minimum of 9 players for a complete team (Minimum of 3 men/women)

    • Registered Groups who do not meet the minimum roster requirement by the registration deadline may be merged with other small groups, or have free agents added to their roster

  •  6 max on the court at a time (Minimum of 2 men/women)

    • Non binary players may account for either genders' minimum. Example: A team has 4 men on the court with a woman and a non binary player. Or if a team has 4 women, 1 man, and 1 non binary player on the court. In both instances the team meets gender requirements. 

  • 4 players minimum to start an official game (at least 1 man/woman)

  • Best of 5 rally scoring - Games are played 15-15-15-15-11.

    • 55 minute time limit for games (win by 2 for the last set only, capped at 15). If a team has not won 3 games, the team leading after 55 minutes is the winner

  • Schedule: Depending on the number of teams it's possible for teams to have byes/ doubleheaders. The league may be shortened or extended by a week. All teams are guaranteed 6 scheduled regular season games. All league dates, times, and locations are subject to change at any point in the season. 

  • Playoffs: In most leagues not all teams will qualify for the playoffs. We will always take as many teams as we can accommodate for a one night playoff, unless your league is a multi-night league. A “no email no show/forfeit” will result in automatic DQ from playoffs. See League Rules for more details. 

  • Weather Policy: You are guaranteed 2 makeup games at the same location, but games are not guaranteed to be played on the same day of week.
