Volo Sports pickleball leagues in Los Angeles include weekly games at top facilities, organized teams, hosts, standings, and a fun social experience designed for all skill levels.
Prepaid teams eliminate the chance of your team having any free agents or small groups added to your roster and allows you to add players after the registration deadline but before the league starts.
One of you can start a small group and invite the others through the invitation link or you can all sign up as free agents and send an email to [email protected] shortly after and request to be placed on the same team.
Volo Sports pickleball leagues run for 6 weeks of regular-season play followed by 1 playoff week, with one scheduled game each week. Each night includes 60 minutes of gameplay in a fun, organized, and social format.
Casual pickleball leagues are more social and relaxed, focusing on fun, learning the game, and meeting new people—perfect for beginners or players getting back into the sport. Competitive leagues are higher intensity with stronger gameplay, more experienced players, and a faster pace for those looking for a more challenging match experience.
No, Volo Sports does not verify or require DUPR ratings—our leagues are self-rated to keep registration simple and accessible. For our competitive pickleball leagues, we recommend players have an intermediate to advanced skill level, roughly around 3.0 DUPR for intermediate players and 3.5+ DUPR for more competitive play.
No problem—Volo Sports' pickleball leagues are beginner-friendly and open to all skill levels. If you’ve never played before, our casual leagues are a great way to learn the game, meet new people, and get comfortable on the court in a fun, social environment.
Yes, players are required to bring their own paddle. Volo Sports provides all game balls and secures the courts for league play, so you can just show up ready to play.
We will accommodate as many teams as possible in the playoffs, but only the TOP 4 teams are guaranteed advancement.
