Your Questions, Answered
While many Volo NYC leagues have gender requirements, there are no gender requirements for Volo NYC cornhole leagues.
Sign up solo, with a friend, or as a full team. A huge chunk of our NYC players come in as free agents, and we place them on teams with other solo signups. It's one of the most popular ways to meet people in the city, especially if you're new here.
When you sign up, a prompt will ask you if you have any teammate requests or if you would like to leave a note about your registration. You can also email [email protected] with any teammate requests or questions.
NYC Social is a social sports company! While we do offer some competitive leagues (these are typically noted as competitive in their title) most of our leagues are social leagues. Cornhole is all about meeting new people, tossing some bags and having a good time.
Registration fees for Volo NYC are dependent on location and day of the week, so be sure to check the league details carefully. After you sign up, everything else is taken care of for you. Your registration includes a league shirt, referees, venue costs, equipment, league management and so much more! Don’t forget, when you sign up with Volo NYC, your league registration helps provide free youth sports programs in New York through the Volo Kids Foundation.
A team consists of 5+ players. A minimum of 2 players (from the team’s league roster) is needed to start and/or continue a game.
Volo NYC is a social sports company! While we do offer some competitive leagues (these are typically noted as competitive in their title) most of our leagues are social leagues. Cornhole is all about meeting new people, tossing some bags and having a good time.
At Volo NYC leagues you can expect tons of fun! On game night you’ll want to arrive 10-15 minutes before your game to meet your teammates and get ready to play. Each match will be 16 frames per match. **Games are Rally Scoring (no cancellations) 3 points in the hole 1 point on the board - No Cap on Points for the Match**
