Games are typically played in 50-60 minute timeframes with best of 5 rally scoring 15-15-15-15-11 win by 2 for the last set only, capped at 15 (no win by 2 for 50 minute time slots)

6v6: 9 players (2 men/women) 4v4: 7 (1 man/woman)

Recreational: Recreational volleyball players enjoy the game for fun and social interaction rather than competition. They have basic volleyball skills and understanding, but may not focus on mastering advanced techniques. Games are often played in a relaxed atmosphere, where the emphasis is on enjoyment, teamwork, and socializing. Players at this level engage in casual play, often participating in local leagues, community events, or friendly matches. Intermediate: Intermediate players have a good grasp of volleyball rules and techniques. They can perform fundamental skills such as serving, passing, and hitting with moderate proficiency. While they may still be developing their tactical awareness and coordination, they are capable of participating in organized games. Players at this level are focused on improving their skills and gaining more experience in a competitive environment. Players at this level usually have played club volleyball in college or have a Yankee rating of at least a C. Upper Intermediate: Players at this level have a solid understanding of volleyball fundamentals and strategies. They can execute basic skills with consistency, including serving, passing, setting, hitting, and blocking. Upper intermediate players are comfortable playing in competitive matches and often engage in more complex plays and teamwork. They may participate in leagues or tournaments and are looking to refine their skills and enhance their game. They have a solid understanding of a 6-2 or 5-1 rotation and will assign players specific positions. Players at this level would have a Yankee rating of at least a C+/B-.
