Softball is the original adult social sport, and Volo runs year-round coed slow-pitch softball leagues. Games are played at top local venues including Cheviot Hills Rec Center, Stoner Rec Center, Pan Pacific Park, and Westchester Rec Center. With refs, standings, and post-game hangs that turn the dugout into your weekly crew, there’s a division for every level—whether you played in high school or haven’t swung a bat in years.

Volo Sports softball leagues in Los Angeles include weekly games at top facilities, organized teams, shirts, refs, standings, and a fun social experience designed for all skill levels.
Prepaid teams eliminate the chance of your team having any free agents or small groups added to your roster and allows you to add players after the registration deadline but before the league starts.
One of you can start a small group and invite the others through the invitation link or you can all sign up as free agents and send an email to [email protected] shortly after and request to be placed on the same team.
Volo Sports softball leagues run for 8 weeks of regular-season play followed by 1 playoff week, with one scheduled game each week. Games last 55 minutes or seven innings. No new inning starts 10 minutes within the time limit.
Slowpitch softball is a more recreational, coed-friendly version of the game where pitchers throw a high-arc pitch (6’ to sky) and a strike mat is used at home plate to simplify calls and keep gameplay moving. It’s designed to be more social, accessible, and beginner-friendly.
Players must bring their own bats and gloves. Volo Sports only allows alloy bats in softball leagues—composite bats are not permitted for safety and league consistency.
Yes—our 10v10 softball leagues follow coed gender rules, with a maximum of 7 men allowed on the field at one time to keep play balanced and inclusive for all participants.
We will accommodate as many teams as possible in the playoffs, but only the TOP 4 teams are guaranteed advancement.
