Weather
Unless Volo notifies you otherwise, games and programs should be considered on as scheduled.
We know weather can be unpredictable. Volo monitors weather, field and facility conditions, and local restrictions throughout the day to determine whether play can continue. We do our best to make weather decisions at least one hour before game time, but changing conditions or facility decisions may sometimes require an update closer to the scheduled start.
Cities, facilities, or venue partners may close fields, courts, or gyms even when conditions appear playable. When that happens, Volo is required to follow those decisions.
If a game is canceled due to weather or related field or facility conditions, we will communicate the change through the appropriate player communication channels.
Volo guarantees up to two weather-related makeup games per season. If additional games are affected by weather, we will do our best to reschedule them when venue availability and scheduling allow, but additional makeups cannot be guaranteed.
Weather related delays or postponements do not, on their own, create eligibility for a refund or credit. If a game is affected by weather, we’ll first follow the makeup guidelines above and make every reasonable effort to reschedule.
If a weather related cancellation cannot be made up, any applicable credit will be handled in accordance with Volo’s Refund Policy.
Communication methods, facility requirements, and makeup availability may vary by market or venue without changing the overall Volo Weather Policy.
For game-day guidance, where to check for updates, and what to expect when weather is in the forecast, see What’s the Weather Policy? in the Volo Help Center.
